My blog is still relatively new (my first post was early 2019 and sometimes i go months without posting). And that year, i didn’t paint much either. Instead i mainly used a commission painter. So i haven’t felt the need to reflect on my personal painting progress before. But i stopped using a commission painter in late 2019 and finally picked up the brush myself. So i thought it neat to look back at my efforts and how many minis i had painted in 2020.
By my crude head count i’ve painted up 66 inquisitor scale minis in 2020: 3 daemonettes of Slaanesh, 3 Inquisitors, 1 alien, 1 tau, 11 gangers/cultists/civilians, 1 eldar, 2 imperial guard, 3 arcoflagellants/chronogladiators, 1 ogryn, 3 orks (including a deff dread), 4 sisters of battle (including a penitent engine), 3 rogue traders, 6 chaos spawn, 3 chaos henchman, 1 arbite, 2 mutants, 5 adeptus mechanicus, 1 chaos space marine, 4 dark mechanicus, 4 space marines, 2 servitors, 1 ecclesiarchy character, and 1 daemonhost. Whew!
For such a strange, uncertain and challenging year, I’m chuffed about my output in 2019. When i stop faffing about, i might even take a picture of what i painted in 2020…
